Fine Artist, Community Artist & Facilitator // dreamer and co-creator of a more beautiful and loving world.
Education
I am a fine arts and culture professional working in the fields of visual arts, performance and community art. I hold a BA in Fine Arts (Visual Arts and Performance) from Kankaanpää School of Fine Arts (2017) and a MA in Culture and Arts (Contemporary Contexts of Arts) from Turku University of Applied Sciences (2025). In the fall 2026 I’ll start a two-year pedagogical studies programme for teachers in the arts at the Open University of the Arts Helsinki.
Further education
To widen my knowledge and to understand multiple perspectives, I have also attended various courses outside the culture and arts fields. I have undertaken courses in diversity, equity and inclusivity, as well as sustainability and community building. I have been trained in emotional skills, communication and trauma-informed approaches. I have completed open university courses in philosophy and studied various contemplative practices. I’m also a trained hospice and palliative care volunteer.
Experience and interests
I have explored a range of topics including social norms and holistic questions. The former has covered themes like the diversity of gender and sexuality, power dynamics and representation. The latter has addressed topics like metaphysical questions, myths and queer ecology.
I’m passionate about equity, relational dynamics and communication ethics, and experienced in co-creative and interdisciplinary working methods. I’ve held multiple exhibitions and guided workshops and participatory art both individually and with working groups, and organised community projects and events as part of international teams. I have also created commissioned artwork for individuals and for the University of Turku.
I’m moved by love and compassion, hoping to make the world more beautiful for all beings.
